CASA NUBE
Under Construction
BY Taller Héctor Barroso
Renowned architect Héctor Barroso, founder of Taller Héctor Barroso in Mexico City since 2011, creates spaces deeply connected to nature and their local environment. His designs emphasize the thoughtful use of local materials, natural light, and shadows to forge meaningful connections between inhabitants and their surroundings. Barroso’s architecture weaves together memory, emotion, and habitat, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces to craft environments that feel both intimate and harmonious with the site.
Driven by a reflective and collaborative creative process, Héctor approaches architecture as both a personal journey and a collective act. He values ongoing research and dialogue—often working closely with local craftspeople—to explore materials and building techniques rooted in tradition. Rather than focusing on formal repetition, his work consistently seeks to transfer the warmth and sensory qualities of single-family homes—gardens, courtyards, and natural textures—into medium-scale collective housing, enhancing the lived experience on every level.
Barroso’s architecture goes beyond building structures—it aims to enrich communities by creating spaces that support personal well-being and encourage a sense of inclusion and togetherness.

CASA ENTRE PATIOS
Under Construction
BY Architect Sergio Ortiz
Architect Sergio Ortiz believes in designing with the land rather than imposing upon it. His philosophy shaped a home that integrates naturally with its surroundings, its horizontal form evolving over time to feel as though it has always been there. Casa Entre Patios is a thoughtful composition of form and function, where architecture engages with the landscape rather than dominating it.
Great architecture doesn’t stand still—it responds and adapts. The vision for this home was never about making a bold statement, but about creating a space that feels rooted and right. Guided by the belief that a place should reveal its own design, Sergio works in collaboration with the land. The result is a U-shaped retreat that embraces the landscape and encourages fluid movement between indoor and outdoor spaces. Instead of relying on a single dramatic gesture, the home reveals itself gradually, through a layered and immersive experience.

CASA PORTALES
Under Construction
BY Architects Ana Victoria Pérez-Gil & Saúl Figueroa
“When we first arrived at this site, we were captivated by its natural flow” reflect Saúl and Ana, the visionary architects behind this residence. “The mango tree became the soul of the design—a living heart around which everything else unfolded. Its shade and presence shaped not just the outdoor spaces but also the flow of the interiors, creating a home that feels alive, grounded, and deeply connected to the land. From there, the pathways naturally guided us, weaving through the home and extending all the way to the beach.”
